One of the most important aspects
of s successful rental program is the "rental manager".
Though there are many to thank for their involvement in Sea Winds
Condominium Association rental program, no one is more devoted,
conscientious, talented and committed to its success than Rental
Manager JoAnn M. Slusarczyk, our first level point of contact at
the main office. Her unqualified dedication and warm personality
has won the admiration of the Board of Directors, the Rental Committee
and Management from Jacobs, Jacobs Associate Inc.
Her comfortable working relationship
with the many guest and tenants has moved the Sea winds rental program
from a transitional endeavor into a serious "local" competitive
enterprise. Owners have a vested interest in the rental program
as 15% of all short-term rental revenue goes directly to the Sea
winds Association. Through an extensive advertising effort and continued
owner support, the program should continue to grow in participating
numbers.
Manager Background
JoAnn is a retired Federal civilian employee who worked for the
upper echelon Staff Officers at the Headquarters of the Florida
National Guard. Her experience in facility management and contract
management gave her ample experience to successfully reorganize
and computerize the Sea Winds Association Rental program. Her past
professional experience working for the government led to the receipt
of the prestigious Minuteman Award from the National Guard Bureau
in Washington D.C. and the Florida Commendation Medal for her management
work in St. Augustine.
Joann lives a parallel life
balanced between the many hours on property and her large family.
She has six grandchildren with family in New Orleans, New York,
Connecticut and St. Augustine. After coming to Florida with her
two daughters, some thirty years ago, she fell in love with St.
Augustine Beach and has lived near the ocean for 19 of the past
years. She still takes time to walk on the beach and enjoy the sun.
One her greatest joys was be able to travel to Italy. She hopes
to return and experience more international travel.
